In a world obsessed with sleek minimalism, we chose to embrace the chaos of your auntie’s / خالتو’s glitter GIFs.

Sabah El Kher / صباح الخير started as an idea between the two of us, Sabine and Mik. Like many others, we grew up waking up to forwarded good-morning messages, spinning roses, pixelated blessings, and low-res graphics sent with pure love. At some point, we realized these weren’t just jokes or kitsch. They were culture.

What began as something we wanted to share with friends, then friends of friends, slowly turned into a way to preserve and celebrate these small digital rituals in the physical world. Call it wearable nostalgia, call it diaspora-core, call it a graphic designer’s worst nightmare. We call it Sabah El Kher / صباح الخير: unfiltered cyber love, served in low-res.

Sworn to preserve the sacred roses that spin forever, we honour the intergenerational habit of starting the day with eccentric graphics in 240p.
